In addition to naming this new-to-market subscription brand in the D2C space, we were also tasked with identifying key differentiators. In doing both primary and secondary consumer research, we recognized that while available as add-ons, supplements were not infused into coffee brands. Recognizing this as an unique selling proposition, we also developed different names representing these different blends. The name Zend, derived from “send” and “Zen”, denoted that this coffee service would seamlessly be delivered directly to your door. We developed its name, its identity as well as beautifully designed and curated packaging for eight different SKUs. We then developed a Shopify website that told the brand story as well as enabled people to subscribe and launched an entire go-to-market campaign with digital video assets.
